Analog power and converter pricing continue to rise. Based on a three-month moving average of the Commodity IQ Price Index, conversion pricing was up 9.4% sequentially in Q2 and rose 1.6% month-on-month in July to over two times the baseline. Analog power pricing climbed 1.4% for Q2 and increased 2.7% in July, employing the same methodology. Year-on-year for Q2, converter pricing more than doubled while analog power IC prices were flat. Yet, overall inventories are still elevated and have inflated for converters and analog ICs in each month of Q2, which could pave the way for improved availability and pricing. |
